Our 2021 discipleship focus is R1CH Relationships. God has designed us to follow Jesus in community where we experience life-on-life relationships with others. We not only study God’s Word and pray with one another, but share our lives in fun and ordinary ways too!
We invite you to #DoLife with others in the WEFC family!
We want you to share ideas on what fun, everyday, ordinary (yes, normal) things we can do, and invite others to do these things with you! Consider activities you already do, or something your LCG opens to others, or a new experience you’re looking to try.
1 THESSALONIANS 2:8
WE LOVED YOU SO MUCH THAT WE SHARED WITH YOU NOT ONLY GOD’S GOOD NEWS, BUT OUR OWN LIVES TOO.
NOW TILL MID-MARCH
Submit your ideas for #DoLife Groups!
Groups will be publicly listed here, and any WEFCer can sign up to join.
By submitting an idea, you are willing to host and organise meet-up(s) with interested folks.
MID-MARCH – END APRIL
First meet-ups take place from mid Mar to end Apr.
Groups can meet just once or choose to continue meeting beyond April — it’s up to you!
What are acceptable #DoLife activities?
Think fun, ordinary and accessible — things you might do in your everyday life, e.g. eating, exercising, gardening, etc. These activities should not be formal, serious or “spiritual”.
Can my LCG start a #DoLife group?
Yes! LCGs are great communities to start #DoLife groups. If your LCG is already or considering doing something fun together, you can start a #DoLife group but be sure to make space for a few non-LCG members to join in. If your LCG is big, you can start 2 or 3 #DoLife groups.
Can non-WEFCers join in?
Yes! While #DoLife is primarily focused on deepening life-on-life relationships within the WEFC family, you can invite your family and friends to join us too.
Are there congregation-specific #DoLife groups?
No, all #DoLife groups are open to both the English and Chinese congregations. Most groups will likely interact using mainly English (Singlish actually!), but some groups will be comfortable in both English and Chinese.
If you can only understand Chinese, look out for groups that have an English + Chinese name.
