SERVE WITH US
WEFC took its first steps into the Prison Ministry in 2007. Today, we continued to be filled with awe and gratitude at how God has called us to partner Him to bring about gospel transformation in the lives of ex-offenders and their families. We desire to be God’s instrument of grace to transform and rebuild broken lives, and to make disciples who will be living witnesses of the power of Jesus Christ.
We serve ex-offenders through prison in-care and after-care support. Our volunteers reach out and minister to inmates through regular prison visits, chapel services, Bible study and the Christian Intensive Religious Counselling Programme (CIRCP). Beyond the prison term, we welcome and integrate ex-offenders and their families into our church community. We are committed to journey with them to offer spiritual, emotional and practical support through our robust New Life Group (NLG) family.
PRISON IN-CARE SUPPORT
Befriend male prison inmates through regular visits to the prison (2 Sunday afternoons each month)
PRISON AFTER-CARE SUPPORT
Welcome, befriend and journey with ex-inmates as they reintegrate into society, supporting them in their rehabilitation and spiritual growth. Be committed to being a part of the New Life Group family and attending the weekly meetings.
