Prisons

WEFC took its first steps into the Prison Ministry in 2007. Today, we continued to be filled with awe and gratitude at how God has called us to partner Him to bring about gospel transformation in the lives of ex-offenders and their families. We desire to be God’s instrument of grace to transform and rebuild broken lives, and to make disciples who will be living witnesses of the power of Jesus Christ.

We serve ex-offenders through prison in-care and after-care support. Our volunteers reach out and minister to inmates through regular prison visits, chapel services, Bible study and the Christian Intensive Religious Counselling Programme (CIRCP). Beyond the prison term, we welcome and integrate ex-offenders and their families into our church community. We are committed to journey with them to offer spiritual, emotional and practical support through our robust New Life Group (NLG) family.

兀兰播道会于2007年开启了监狱事工，直至今日我们依然怀着敬畏和感恩的心为神作见证，感谢祂让我们成为有用的器皿，把福音的大能带到了前囚犯和他们的家人的生命中。我们渴望成为神施恩的器皿，为更新破碎的生命尽一份力，为耶稣基督建立门徒，见证祂更新生命的大能。

监狱事工的侍奉分别有服刑期间的支援和出狱后的支援。我们的义工会定期到监狱去做探访、主持主日敬拜、带查经班和进行辅导。出狱后，我们欢迎前囚犯和他们的家人加入教会这个大家庭，我们致力与他们同行，通过新生命小组，给予他们属灵上、情感上和实质上的帮助。
